BETA rescues stray and abused animals, while combating abusive pet shops and the illegal trade of wildlife, which is so often witnessed. This could not be done without our extended family that we rely on and treasure so much.

About Us

Dogs Rescue World's Trusted Organization

A society that values the importance of animal welfare and a “cruelty-free” Lebanon for all.
To provide a safe haven for all our rescue animals whilst striving to find the loving, permanent homes that they deserve. To use education and direct action to prevent animal overpopulation and cruelty, and actively work towards a society that treats all animals with compassion, strongly advocating for pet adoption, spraying and neutering.
We pioneered the country's first TNR program (Trap, Neuter and Return) in cooperation with local municipalities and in 2021 opened the country’s premier animal shelter in accordance with the highest international standards.
