Swana was rescued after being reported to us by an animal advocate in an area known to be unfriendly towards dogs..
This sweet puppy was run over by a speeding vehicle and left rotting on the side of the road !
Upon impact Swana was viciously amputated, her bone was left sticking out causing her immense pain and discomfort and to top it all her wound was filled with worms eating her alive …
She was rushed to the vet in a cardboard box making sure not to move her and inflict any more pain !
Her blood work for parvo and distemper came back negative, however she is severely anemic from the excessive blood loss following her accident and to top it all off she was on the verge of being sceptic..
Her tiny body withstood a great deal, but we knew that we had to give her every single shot at survival, that being said she was rushed into emergency surgery for a proper amputation operation to salvaged what was left of her tissue and avoid any infection.
Swana it’s a miracle ! She made it this far against all odds!
She’s sweet, friendly, loves her treats and cuddles, good with other dogs! DOB: 20/03/2023
