About KIANA
Kiana was rescued off the streets suffering from clear nerve damage to her front leg… Hobbling around the streets desperate not only for a medical intervention but also a helping hand.
She finally came across someone who would give her the time of day, her rescue was imminent after that!
Kiana was rushed to the vet and underwent all necessary tests and exams needed to determine the severity of her injury.
Xray showed a complete disconnection of her radial nerve… leaving her no feeling in her arm below the elbow…a point of no return…
Her injuries suggest a hit and run, disabling her physically, and cutting her chances of survival on the streets to none existant… she was left to fight for her life at just 3 months old.
Kiana underwent her surgery, we had to amputate her front leg is of no use to her now, it will only cause her discomfort and be a burden to her from here on out.
Kiana is a sweet loving pup, scared and disoriented but in due time she will learn how to shine her light once more.
