udy is a survivor of a hit and run.
Hit by a car on a busy highway Judy was left suffering from extensive injuries, however she refused to feel defeated. She simply refused to give in !
She pulled together all the strength she had left and pulled herself up, dragged herself to safety to a nearby gaz station before finally laying down..
Luckily the workers there welcomed her with open arms and we were contacted to take on her case.
Judy was rushed to the nearest animal hospital to undergo all necessary tests and exams…
Her blood test came back positive for ehrlichia, her x-rays show clear multiple open fractures in her back leg, and extensive open wounds.
Sadly her leg couldn’t be saved, Judy underwent emergency amputation surgery and has recovered at the shelter.
Very sweet, friendly, calm and good with other dogs. DOB: 6/6/2020
