About ZANE
Zane was rescued off the streets in southern Lebanon after being dragged by a car…
His abuser tied a cable to his collar, strapped him to the back of their car and simply drove off !
Zane’s body grated against the pavement causing horrific road burns on one side of his body probably the one he fell on, dislocating his shoulder and nearly costing him his life !
Whether the cable broke off or his assailant finally had enough we don’t know…
Zane was left in excruciating pain, suffering, barely able to stand, how he got away we don’t know but we are glad he did..
Zane was rushed to one of our partnered vets and admitted into emergency surgery to clean off his wounds and stitch up what could be.
Zane had four surgeries total to treat his wounds. He’s a very sweet , friendly dog. He’s also good with other dogs.
