About WICK
Wick was rescued off the streets of Jbeil.
Wick stumbled across a kind Samaritan who then proceeded to give him food, water and a temporary shelter before contacting us to take on the case.
The very next morning Wick was urgently transported to the vet and taken under BETA custody.
He suffered from a clear embedded collar, one he thankfully got out of in the nick of time. The collar slowly ripped his skin apart, day after day grew deeper and more painful.
To top it all off, his neck wound was full of flesh eating maggots, he had to undergo emergency surgery to properly clean the infested wound and stitch up what was left of his clear skin…
His shopped ears in addition to his embedded collar as well as his severely emaciated state only proves that he was in an abusive environment how he was able to escape is beyond us, but we are very grateful he did!
Despite being abused Wick continues to be sweet and trusting, giving everyone he comes across the benefit of the doubt..
This sweetheart has now recovered at the shelter , getting the proper treatment and medication he needed to fight any possible infection, and has also gained back some weight and strength. He’s good with female dogs and submissive males. No cats. He loves humans and cuddles. DOB: 11/11/2016
