About WESLEY
Wesley’s journey with us began in the most heartbreaking way—found in terrible condition, yet from the very first moment in our care, he melted into our touch, craving love despite everything he had endured.
During his initial check-up, we quickly discovered the severity of his condition. A large portion of the skin under his mouth is missing due to an infection, though the exact cause remains unknown. Further tests revealed that Wesley is battling both Leishmania and Ehrlichia, in addition to severe anemia. He is so thin that his bones are visible, and his tired eyes reflect the exhaustion of a life filled with struggle.
But Wesley hasn’t given up, and neither will we. Despite everything, he is the sweetest boy, still seeking affection and comfort. It’s not fair that he has endured so much, but we were here to change that. With proper medical care, treatment, and endless love, he has healed and now has the second chance he so desperately deserves. He’s very sweet, calm. Good with dogs. DOB: 2/2/2018
