Viper was Spotted on the streets of Jbeil by a good samaritan who couldn’t turn a blind eye, and we are so glad he didn’t.
Initially thinking he had been shot, not knowing where the blood was coming from, the animal advocate contacted us and rushed the sweet 1.5 year old boy we named Viper to the vet.
After running all necessary tests and exams, Viper was diagnosed suffering from an extreme skin condition known as demodex, a mange caused by a parasitic mite that took residence in his hair follicles.
The emaciated pup’s face was covered in blood and sores, it took sometime for him to get to the state he was found! His physical state had been deteriorating for months..
Slowly being eaten by the parasites, causing him harm and discomfort. He’s getting better every day.
He’s so friendly with people and other dogs . DOB: 20/11/2021
