Tekoah’s story is both heartbreaking and inspiring.

Abandoned and left to navigate the harsh streets, this sweet boy had no idea how to survive in such a dangerous environment.

Huskies, like Tekoah, are loyal, loving, and deeply connected to people, and when left to fend for themselves, they suffer in ways we can’t imagine.

At first, we were told Tekoah had been shot in the face. The thought of someone inflicting such cruelty on this innocent soul was unbearable. But when he was rushed to the vet for urgent care, the truth came to light: Tekoah hadn’t been shot, but instead was viciously attacked by a pack of stray dogs.

The wounds left on his face were severe, Tekoah urgently needed stitches and intensive medical treatment to heal from this brutal attack. But he remains the sweetest and most loving dog.

His gentle spirit has not been broken, and he still does wonderfully with the other dogs at the shelter, showing resilience and an incredible ability to trust again. DOB: 04/04/2019
