Stormie was reported to us as « an almost dead dog », we found her laying on her side she had totally given up and was clearly just waiting for her time to come, the simplest effort to just breath took all the strength she had left, she is severely emaciated from clear lack of nutrition.
She was rushed to the vet to get all necessary IV traitements to help her regain the minimum amount of strength needed to be able to stand up again.
She was of course admitted to the clinic ICU for further observation, we hope that in a few days she can be discharged.
Stormie also suffers from a minor skin infection nothing a little bit of ointment won’t clear up though.
We rescued her just in time, we received word that breeders were lurking around like vultures, looking for the female pure breed. Thinking of her as a business opportunity rather than a soulful creature…
We do not know how she got to be in this state or why, what we do know is that she is safe now.
She has a long way back but with patience love and time we hope this beauty will be back on her feet and can promise that she won’t have to be in this state ever again !
She’s much better now, loves to cuddle with human! Really friendly and playful. NO CATS. She’s ok with dogs under supervision. DOB: 17/3/2020
