About CRUZ
Cruz was rescued after he was reportedly abandoned on a farm.
Cruz is obviously blind, with limited coordination he was bullied by the other dogs in the area, attacked to an extent that the person trying to help had to isolate him in a chicken coop until he could be rescued to keep him safe.
Cruz’s blindness seemed to be a few months old, there were no scars or marks around his face so we wondered what had happened. He clearly wasn’t born this way…
After conducting further tests and xrays we got our answer.
Cruz had been shot in the face months earlier as a young pup… as a result he permanently lost his eye sight !
Surviving on the streets with all your senses is near impossible these days, imagine just what Cruz had to go through, how lost and disoriented he must have felt, the pain he must have endured to heal from a gunshot wound naturally with no pain killers..
Cruz is a sweetheart with nothing more for us to do other than loving him, fending for him and keeping him safe ! He’s good with other dogs and still love humans
