About BAZ
Baz was rescued following a horrific attack. Baz minding his own business was approached by his aggressor while on his motorcycle, thinking nothing of it he kept on walking…
Not even a few seconds later Baz fell to the ground, he had been shot at close range point blank into his shoulder for no reason.
The motorcycle driver then continued his course as if nothing had just happened !
Horrified by his screams, the good samaritan who was as shocked as he was , contacted us to take on Baz’s case.
Bleeding uncontrollably, barely hanging on, he was transported to one of our partnered vets for stabilization…
He couldn’t understand what was going on, one minute he was fine and the next he was fighting for his life.
Baz was scheduled for an amputation few days after his rescue as he wasn’t strong enough to undergo anesthesia just yet.
To top it all off he as tested positive for the ehrlichia virus and was deemed too anemic. He received blood transfusions to get him ready for his operation.
Even though his a friendly dog , he’s a bit shy at first and need sometimes to trust people. He’s good with other dogs.
