About ALTA
Alta was found alone on the streets, severely injured and in desperate need of urgent medical attention.
Alta was found unable to move, she was rushed to the animal hospital only to discover that she is suffering from a shattered pelvis and a severely damaged eye that is beyond repair and must be removed.
Her injuries were both severe and life-altering. The broken pelvis caused her constant pain, and without surgery, she risked never walking again.
Despite everything she’s endured, Alta remained hopeful. She needed immediate surgery to give her the chance at a brighter future!
Alta had her surgeries to repair her pelvis and the removal of her damaged eye. With the right medical care, she is regaining her mobility, and will leave her painful past behind. DOB: 2/2/2021
