About CHESNEY
What happened to Chesney is something no living soul should ever endure.
Witnesses watched in horror as a car struck him once… …and then reversed and hit him again.
Not by accident, not by panic. On purpose, deliberately, cruelly.
The impact shattered his leg beyond saving. Multiple fractures, torn ligaments… His tiny body scraped raw with road burns.
He was left there on the cold ground—broken, trembling, and utterly alone.
By some miracle he made it out alive.. We couldn’t save his leg , we had to amputate. He’s such a gentle sweet dog! He also had road burns on the side and his liver was struck too. He’s good with other dogs. DOB: 8/8/2022
